This would be my jealous face. It's so fantastic. Also, not that your'e going on a budget like mine because a 100$ a night hotel room for you is probaby something like $40 for you at this point (I think we are equal with Canada. WHAT IS THE WORLD COMING TO WHEN WE ARE EQUAL MONETARILY WITH CANADA!?!), but if you stay at the YMCA it'll be really inexpensive. Something like 34.00 a night. You can afford better, though, with your dirty British money..
I like Christmas lights. I have some on my bed. They're shaped like snowflakes.I actually like all things that twinkle at me, including stars, and two year olds who don't know the proper lyrics to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
That is totally geeky, but if that's what will make you happy, you know?
I was actually thinking of going to Karaoke at AK-47, seeing as they're making it a habit on Monday nights, now. And my birthday is on Monday, 26 November.
I have to be honest, I do want to go to New York, but it strikes me as overly touristy, and I think we had this discussion before about touristy places. My preference is definitely for places less affected by that sort of thing.
Hey:D Don't know if you heard yet but the date for NYC is 11/14 at Madison Square Garden and Chicago is 10/20. There's a few more that have been 'unlocked'. Hope you come up with an awesome plan for your birthday!

on 2007-08-18 06:29 pm (UTC)It's been like that pretty much for the last couple of years. It hasn't varied much at all.
I don't know if I want to go when it's decorated for Christmas, actually. : /

on 2007-08-18 06:39 pm (UTC)Seriously. I'd only be going for Karaoke at AK-47. Which is so intensely lame I'm appalled at myself.

on 2007-08-18 06:52 pm (UTC)It's a bar, and I wouldn't get up and sing because my last chest infection ruined my voice.

I'll really meet you there, really.
