Baby bats.

You know bats are my favourite animals? Well look at this:



She was found by amabat who also took the photo; there were fears she would need to be hand-reared by she was released tonight and apparently seemed confident in her surroundings, so that's a happy ending.

But just look how teeny she is! For all those who wondered what the hell I thought bats were so cute for, tell me that doesn't sway you!

They're adorable.. They're little and fuzzy and have wings.

Only they also fly at my head and I don't like that.

I've always loved them. I just think they're beautiful and misunderstood little things and they're so cute. I'd love to have a big house and garden with somewhere that could host a colony. I love watching them.

We have a few in the wood where I'm doing the play at the moment - it's so cool to watch them when it starts to get dark.

I love watching bats fly about at night :) My cat brought one in once, but we rescued it unchewed and sent it on it's way. They're so adorable! *is reduced to baby talk*

How cute! I remember one night, like, when I first moved here and you and I were lying in the grass in Russel Square and there was that wee bat dive flying about around us and dive bombing towards us - remember that? I was thinking about it JUST earlier today then I came home and saw this post! Haha <3 bats
