Comment and I'll pick seven of your icons, and then you will explain why you love/are using the icon (who doesn't love talking about their icons, seriously) and then post your explanation/this meme in your journal for other people to squee about their icons, and basically it will be a huge squeefest of love and 100x100 square pixels.

1.
This is my history icon. My greatgrandfather always swore that he was Lakota Sioux, and the chap in the picture is a Lakota Warrior (or so the picture claimed). I just love it because of the colours and the way the silhouette is so strong. My *cough*spiritguide*splutter* is a dude I call The Chief, as well, so he reminds me of him.

2.
My sad icon! Because there are only so many miserable-looking puppies you can stand.

3.
I don't act so often, now, but most of what I have done has been with the GST (this is our logo). My first play with them was Amadeus, in which I played Constanze - it's actually unheard of for a new member to get a leading role, so it was pretty damn awesome.

4.
MOUNTAIN JEW! This icon actually came from a conversation with [livejournal.com profile] xdearlin in which she referred to Troh as 'The Mountain Jew'. Obviously, I had to make an icon of it because it was just too hilarious not to.

5.
STFU! UR BREAKIN MA BRAINZ!
I love this picture of Patrick so much it's untrue. The angst of other people's stupidity. Marvelous!

6.
Oh, the Arms Race Spoonage™! I think this might have been what converted me to the Patroh ship. That and the fact that it wrote itself into the 16-Candlesverse fic I started in March and am yet to complete. But I love this icon because it is just so sweet and innocent. It pretty much epitomises the stereotypical view of the pairing.

Mmm, vanilla.

7.
This is a Band of Brothers/101st Airborne icon. These guys are my heroes. They fought on D-Day, at Market Garden and The Battle of the Bulge. Without these men and their counterparts across the Allied Forces, we would not live in a free world. But they are so humble about it. As each of the mem fades away one by one, the world becomes a less honourable place.

I have their jumpwings tattooed on the back of my neck.
