Saturday, 20 September 2008 11:57 pmSo, I've been doing some admin on the site I never really worked on - icedmaple.com - and I remembered that I made a shit ton of 50x50 icons for FOBRock when I first got into bandom.
They're still up here if anyone wants some.

The album cover one is actually their first official, label-endorsed icon, so I guess that's pretty cool. You can take it without bothering to credit me, if you want it - it's going to be all over their MySpace soon.

Julie is coming over for a week before Pegasus 2 so we can go and see Fall Out Boy at Hammersmith! We don't have tickets yet, but we will. I can't miss this gig. I haven't heard back frombillietallent about coming to stay, so I don't know if she and the boyshape still are or what. I've not heard anything since I was asked, a few weeks back.
I also apologise for not posting anything but Fall Out Boy stuff, for the last week. I'm honeymooning. Sorry.
My body clock has totally switched to nocturnal again, lately. I'm completely exhausted, most of the time because I can't sleep. I want to be up all night and sleep all day. It's not good while working 9-5.
Still I've booked my week off for Peg2 and the time off for Canada. It's going to be so awesome! We're going to head down to Seattle briefly, as well (try to figure out the reason for that one ;P). I still need a passport but my genius boss managed to write the declaration across two, instead of on the back of one, so I have to get them done again. Meh.
But yay! I'm going to Vancouver!! Woot.
But I'll try to post as well.

lj_design is run by what looks like a fourteen year old with a cup glued to his face, no common sense, and a whole plethora of redundant and frankly condescending excuses (and poor excuses for IT professionals) blundering through a significant change to the way the site most of us pay to use works, fixing bugs they found after launching it because they're too fucking thick to beta-test this stuff, and then have the fucking audacity to refuse to allow us the old-skool options - I bring my limited icon skills for your adoption:

I still need to think of some other themes to cover - like, 'happy', 'proud' etc. There are a few fandom ones - I'm not entirely sure whether I'll use them much - but they were so easy to make pretty... I'm particularly proud of the CSI one. Completely unrelated to the show - and yet the bullet and card was so perfect I couldn't not.
I'm going to go back through the old posts I uploaded and theme the icons a little bit.
And then I'm going to make a rage icon.
How fascinating this post is.
