What the fuck, dude? When did they start limiting our notifications?

I haven't been getting mine for ages, and you know why? Because you only get the following PER MONTH:

Basic-25
Plus-200
Paid-1000

I'm a mod on LOADS of communities on here - I need those notifications to be unlimited! What am I paying them for?

Wtf? How do we find out how many comments we've had in a month? I can't think I've used a thousand this month, and I haven't gotten notifications for over a week.
LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAME.

I haven't been getting my notifications for almost a week, with a few exceptions-- and I've paid for a fucking permanent account, so I'm EXTRA pissed off right now.

I get about 40-50 a *week*.

Comments. So 25 notifications a month isn't going to cut it.

You're on a free account?

I've had a paid one almost the entire time I've been on LJ - infact, I've had multiple paid accounts - and as a moderator I get notifications for all the people who request to join, request to post in modded comms, plus my own notifications.

Not fucking cool.

I've never really had any use for any of the features that paying grants. As they take away more and more of the features you get as standard it's more likely to make me move on than pay.

I think soon people will move on. I already have a Greatest Journal.

Someone needs to find a way to move all the stuff on one LJ, to another account.

I saw some other people talking about this, and it looks like it just counts the things you choose to "track" not the things that you would automatically be getting notifications for.

Which still doesn't explain why you're not getting notifications, but haven't there been problems with that in the past? I know I've gone weeks without getting comment emails before, just to get a thousand all in one day. Oooooh, livejournal. :\

I have to track a lot - I'm a mod.

There are always problems on and off with LJ Notifications.

That's like seriously fucked up.

Are they limiting just notifications where you're tracking, or everything? Because, seriously, it's ridiculous. You can't even buy extra notifications like you can userpictures or anything.

They're claiming now, that it's how many things you can track, rather than how many notifications - but that sounds like bollocks to me.

Yeah. Well, being limited still sucks, but at least if that's the case you're only limited on the amount you can track. I do find lj increasingly frustrating, these days.
