Okay, so I'm putting my mother hen apron, here, but... meh. I kind of find myself growing uneasy with all the drinking.

I mean, people are making a big deal ("So, this is the first awards ceremony you've been drinking at...") and it's not like it's just occasionally. It's like every time we see him, now.

Someone is being a bad influence, I feel.

Freudian Slip of the Day

We're having a bit of a rough Monday, today, so at lunch I bought some
Jaffa Cakes and flapjacks for the team.
Elly is on a diet and keeps complaining that they'll make her fat, so I
announced rather loudly (in our nice, open-plan office), "Right! That's
it - you're banned from eating my FLAPCAKES."
People are still snickering ten minutes later.

Hard-Fi are doing MTV Take Over.

Ross Phillips. Who I went to school with. Whose mother I did work experience with. Who I had a vague crush on for a while. Who used to have dreadlocks and play in a metal band called Downtune. Who was one of the few kids who was always decent and friendly (if a bit quiet). ROSS. PHILLIPS. IS. DOING. THE. MTV. FUCKING. TAKE OVER.
