ohman, i know, right? i don't even -- it's so strange. there's some really, really good stuff rec'd over there, so the standard is pretty high, but. ehh. mostly it's the fic that's perfectly spelt & punctuated & follows the general, tried-&-tested plotline & style that works for everything else. reading those i just think, ehh. it's just not that good. also, some really fucking good stuff never gets the attention it deserves. oh, what a world.

There's very, very little in the Patroh ship worth reccing - and it'd be weird to just rec my own stuff and two of my friends, so... not much point.
