I've also been planning on winning the lottery. I haven't actually started playing yet, but I'm toying with the idea. I can't win if I don't try, and if you're reasonable about it (maybe one ticket every paycheque, something sensible), then, well, you never know.

Perhaps I've just seen "It Could Happen To You" too many times. Damn Nicolas Cage.

Oh, and also, I am all for your plan. Although I'm not clear on the specifics. Could you still be working a regular paying job whilst doing this tattoo school thing? Something to keep the bill collectors at bay while you're hunting down and then doing your apprenticeship? I'll also volunteer my skin for practice, I'm just a touch on the wrong side of the ocean.

I was actually thinking about working at a local tattoo parlor over my breaks. I'm rather interested in the culture surrounding tattoos (though I don't have any as of this moment) so it would be a good chance to learn more.

You could always find an artist to apprentice with.
