So, the pink and blue was so, so hard to maintain - it washed out really, really quickly and looked awful.

I decided to go back to black, for a while. I can't really spend a lot of money (up to £70) on getting my hair done every month, so being back to black is probably best for now. I can go back to bright colours when I've finished college (if I go).

So, we've gone from this:

To this:

There's still bright blue and pink in the fringe (you can't tell too well, here) but it's much shorter and mostly black.

We'll see how it goes from here.

I love them both! :D I can see why you'd want to go back to black though, but I simply adore the pink and blue. :D ♥ My colour's faded badly and I have major roots now. I was thinking of going black myself, since I have a box of dye sitting in the bathroom, but I'm still undecided :)

PS: You're really cute :)

Haha. Thanks. I'm only cute in the pics I let people see.

Black can be pretty harsh on skin tone and is nearly impossible to dye over, so be careful in making that decision.

Man! Your hair always looks brilliant !

Though for some reason, I always think of various kinds of food when I see the colour of the hair dye that you've dyed your hair with. But I think you already know that XD

Dude. I think of food in relation to everything, so this is no surprise.

Pfft. I refuse to believe that :)

I've gone black before, and I really liked it, but it took 2 years for the colour to fully disappear. Plus the multicoloured roots I had when it was growing out were hilarious ;)

I'd really like to stay red but it's a lot of work getting the colour to last, and I absolutely despise my natural colour, so I know that at least if I go black I won't have to colour my hair again for a long time ;)

HAHA. I'll probably regret it as soon as I do it, if I end up going black, but oh well. It's just hair :)

The colours in your icon are the same colours as your hair used to be. I don't know why this amuses me, but it does a little.

You have really full lips. /random observations.

Haha - very true.

And yeah... I guess my lips and eyes are my best features. Because they're either meant to be fat or don't get fat! Hahaha.

I've already told you this, but I think it looks awesome. I really like the way the blue and pink poke out from under the black.

Ugh, I know all about how expensive dye upkeep can be-- but it's the cost of looking good, you know? ALthough, I find I get way too judgemental when I see people with ridiculously long ugly roots or really faded dye. I just can't understand why anyone would walk around with their hair looking so silly, why they wouldn't just dye over it. Either way, yeah, I support your decision to go back to black. Looks awesome. :)
