I hate people in this fandom, I genuinely, genuinely do.

Trying to pick fights on ICH or something, fine, go ahead if that's what floats your boat. Being obnoxious and aggressive and trying to coerce someone into arguing with you by deliberately ignoring and twisting their points on what was a civil discussion between friends, before you invaded it, on the mutual friend's journal is fucking self-centred and pathetic.

Just so you know.

You know, it doesn't matter what fandom you're in. Everyone is like this.

Why I keep my fandom amongst friends. It's easier and a lot less stressing.

The irony is, this wasn't actually about fandom, it was about music in general, but this was someone from fandom who needed to wade in and be all petty and childish and totally refuse to take any of what I'd said in context. Blatantly trying to stir up trouble.

And all of this in a mutual friend's journal. While I was talking to the person who owned the journal in the first place, who'd made her post referencing mine after I asked to firebomb Hot Chip.

Srsly. It's just not cool.
