So, when we were in the US, Julie and I had this amazing, amazing bread in the Cheesecake Factory, which was dark, dark brown and had oats on top.

Does anyone know what kind of bread that is?

I want to say it is some kind of dark rye bread. Or maybe some version of pumpernickel?

I think it must be rye bread, because it didn't look like the German stuff.

Who knows. I can't find any real info, just speculation.

Hahaha - I love that I'm not the only one obsessed with that bread.

Thanks for that.

I had that bread!! It was gooooooorgeous. They told me it was rye, but I think it was a rye/wholewheat mix because of the texture. I'm laughing at the thought of people around the world bringing tales of The Cheesecake Factory Bread home with them :)
