Does anyone else really dislike that advert with the white singing dog?

Whenever it's not in the car, the dog is shaking like it's frightened or disturbed. :( I know in the adverts that's supposed to be the dog dancing, but it's just kind of upsetting, to me.

Edit: Found it.

I've seen it. I must admit I didn't react the same way as you. Ehe. But I DID and still do want to bring the little dithery dog home with me and snuggle it.

I think it's just because we've had a dog who was JUST like that one and yet she was a really happy little soul. She just couldn't stop dithering, constantly and often violently. *lol* I think he makes me think of her a bit.

I know. But honestly, some DO do that totally naturally. *hugspets* I'm HOPING that's the case with this one - or that it's been trained to do it. I didn't even consider that until you brought it up. O.O You've got me worried now.

In the bank, its tail is even between its legs.

That's probably because it's a tile-like surface. Dogs don't like those purely because they can't get a proper grip on them and it disorientates them a bit. He'll be doing it for balance. Of course, his tail's docked so it doesn't look "natural".

Now, tail docking DOES make me spit fire...

Given that it ends with "Polo Confidence" I think the dog is supposed to be shy and nervous out of the car, hence the shaking. So it *is* supposed to look unsettled. Not nice.

Ugh. That kind of makes the whole thing worse.

ext_3190: Red icon with logo "I drink Nozz-a-la- Cola" in cursive. (wtf?)

SOME of it was done with camera tricks (the first clip, at least), but the rest? Tail tucked between the legs? I mean, there's a chance that the dog is trained to act scared like that, but I'm thinking, um, no.

I hate commercials for the most part, which is why I either get DVDs or, you know, those files that begin with T.

I actually hate it. I've only seen it once, but it's horrible. And I think the dog is supposed to be overly timid outside of the car, because the tagline was something about the car giving you confidence.
But yeah. Hatehatehate. It upsets me a bit. Makes me want to swoop in and rescue the poor thing. (If I get the grades this year, and do eventually become a vet, I will don a superhero costume and become VetGirl by night, and do just that sort of thing *nods*)
