I find it kind of upsetting that the trailer for ****-Live actually uses the footage of Pete shooting Dirty with the t-shirt cannon.

That was the precise moment I stopped liking him and it really bothers me that they're using, "Watch Pete Wentz hurt and degrade someone!" to promote a DVD.

Not cool.

That is kind of stupid. I really disliked that part of the shows, despite being a huge fan of shows like Jackass. I mean, there's an obvious difference between 'trained professionals' and Pete's cronies. Urgh. I was so glad they gave that shit up on YWT.

It was backstage at the HCT - the video where he's nearly crying, begging Pete not to shoot him from such close range because he thought it might really hurt him.

I thought ****-Live was on the YWT, but I could be wrong.

I think the footage is from HCT, despite the pictures on the box being from the acoustic break in the YWT show. It kind of pisses me off because I loved the acoustic break so much and it's not on the DVD (which appears to have a HCT setlist) despite being used to advertise the damned thing. Fail, I say.

I understand why you're upset about the T-shirt canon, but it doesn't really bother me much. I mean, I grew up on a culture of Jackass where guys hurt each other for fun all the time, and sometimes do things that should be degrading, but they really just laugh at. So maybe it was one of those sorts of "Let's put him in short skirt and steal his underwear! IT'LL BE HILARIOUS!" sorts of moments, that the victim actually finds funny, too. At least eventually.

I was being a tad bit sarcastic on how there was like only one incident of Pete being knocked down a peg. Other times he's being a stupid sadist. I want to like Pete but at the same time, it just feels like most of the videos and shit just had to do with Pete "being awesome." It's like one has to have a love-hate fan relationship to him.

I hate how in their videos - their official videos - Joe is always horribly short-changed. First to die in Saturday, no resolution or vengeance in Dance, Dance, the only one without a speaking part in Sixteen Candles… I could go on.

And then in the behind the scenes stuff is basically Wentzass, and the others in it aren't even like, y'know: Bam Margera or Steve-O - they're Ehren McGehey, Raab Himself and Phil.

I have a sneaky suspicion that this DVD is going to be really disappointing. The other documentary - the one that Wentz doesn't have total control over - that will be the interesting one, if it ever sees the light of day.
