rosiedoes: (Sherlock: SH Gasp!)

I would laugh so hard if, after all the fanwank and drama, the 'falling' Sherlock did was down a mine shaft.

I am bemused entirey. Falling fanwank?

(Also hi! I have spent WAY too fucking long on LJ today. I should totally leave the house but I can't decide where I can be arsed to go. XD)

Why leave the house without a legitimate reason? Besides, you like in Portsmouth now. Stay on LJ and keep me amused. It's far safer.

And hey, they'd all love for Sherlock to end the series deep in a tight hole, wouldn't they?

I would die of funny if Gat did that to them.

As long as he's writing the finale again :) Cue dozens of shaft jokes and purists/drama llamas getting in a froth equally.

I hope he is writing the finale. I'd quite like him to write all fo it, actually.

I live in Purbrook, which is totally the posh bit; it's near Waterlooville and Cosham. I'm actually quite liking the area, which I was not expecting at all - comin from Southampton I've been brought up to think of Portsmouth as built from ratshit and chavs. XD

I am totally here for amusement, though. My housemate/landlady has gone out for the evening so I'm thinking that I'll go get beer and watch all of Sherlock straight through - it's been an age since I've seen SiP and I've only seen the Great Game once. :O!

I'm trying to decide what to prompt. I have something in mind, but only because I've already started rewriting it in my head. XD

Haha. I am happy to vet prompt ideas if necessary.

My ex-girlfriend/current awesome friend [livejournal.com profile] returntosender (who incidentally used to be [livejournal.com profile] apiphile's housemate in Uni, I believe - the share didn't end well, so I apologise in advance for any LJ awkwardness if we happen to encounter each other in your LJ) is from Lee-on-the-Solent. I have memories of wandering around Gosport buying Sleeper CDs back in the 90s. Because we were just that cool.

The other only great thing about Portsmouth is that it's about 90 minutes from Brighton! :D

I totally understand [livejournal.com profile] apiphile related awkwardness, she has an incredibly crash-and-burn style of friendship and I think the only reason we've remained friends so long is because I started out a masochist and evolved into someone who was unwilling to be swayed (or hurt) by her bullshit. I love her to pieces but I am absolutely aware and understanding of why people don't.

Gosport is even more dead than Portsmouth, it's hilarious, but it does have iceskating. It kind of excuses a lot of evils.

AND PROXIMITY FOR THE WIN! I have only been to Brighton once, but I loooooved it.

Don't get me wrong, she's never done anything to me other than hurt someone I care about very much, and my loyalty to Mary Ellen prevails. I have no desire to bicker with her or anything at all, I just thought I'd give you a heads up about that seeing as I'd mentioned [livejournal.com profile] returntosender. :)

You should find some time to come down and see us in Brighton, when you are settled. There is a place called Metrodeco which does amazing tea and cake and I am determined that the whole world must try it.

Dude, I would absolutely love to! No guarantees when it'll be - it'll depend rather on how I'm getting on at work - but YAY! :D

Well, you are most welcome whenever you feel like coming. This is in no way a ploy to spend more time eating cake and drinking amazing tea made of flowers from a glass teapot. Nope.
