I totally understand apiphile related awkwardness, she has an incredibly crash-and-burn style of friendship and I think the only reason we've remained friends so long is because I started out a masochist and evolved into someone who was unwilling to be swayed (or hurt) by her bullshit. I love her to pieces but I am absolutely aware and understanding of why people don't.
Gosport is even more dead than Portsmouth, it's hilarious, but it does have iceskating. It kind of excuses a lot of evils.
AND PROXIMITY FOR THE WIN! I have only been to Brighton once, but I loooooved it.
Don't get me wrong, she's never done anything to me other than hurt someone I care about very much, and my loyalty to Mary Ellen prevails. I have no desire to bicker with her or anything at all, I just thought I'd give you a heads up about that seeing as I'd mentioned returntosender. :)
You should find some time to come down and see us in Brighton, when you are settled. There is a place called Metrodeco which does amazing tea and cake and I am determined that the whole world must try it.
