It's de-lurking week. If you read this blog and never - or only rarely - comment... say hello. Who are you? How are you? How'd you find this place? Tell me something...

No, really, do - it freaks me out to not know who you are. And I know you're there because some of you have added me without ever saying why. I don't like that.

Oh - hey, no - adding is cool. I just prefer to know who, how and why, really.

I can't imagine why anyone would want to read my LJ most of the time.

Because your vehement insanity is amusing? (ILU)

My 'vehement insanity'?

Are you saying I think I'm crazy, or you do?

Not insanity as in crazy. Insanity as in drama and fervor and silliness and rage.

Oh. You mean the hyper-hysterical reactions to everything?

Man. I can't help it. My emo amp is set to 11.

If emo was a non-biproduc energy source, you could save the world.

Hey, I'm fine. Had the stomach flu that is kicking about 2/3rds of America right now.

Well I know you, so I'm not commenting for that reason, obviously, but it is odd when someone you don't know and have no particular connection (friends, interests) adds you and you don't know why.
I was once added by a teenage American girl, who I only had "sarcasm" in common with, so I added back out of politeness. Her entire journal was "so like we went to the mall after class, and like, there was this totally hot guy, and like whoah..." (ad infinitum, only more badly spelt and punctuated.) After a couple of months, I noticed she'd removed ME, and I felt really insulted! Am I boring? Livejournal there.

Hahaha - sometimes I wonder if people friend the wrong username by accident.

I think most of my friends find my LJ boring because I just squee about stuff I'm obsessing on, or whine about how much I hate my mother. How is that interesting?

Treadwell's added you cos you have been a friend of the shop since shortly after it opened, and we don't get to see you as much as we'd like. I also hoped that if you friended us back, you could keep up with the little bits of Treadwell's news and stuff.
Xx Christina

*hugs* Treadwell's doesn't count! I know you very well and I'm delighted to have you here.
