So. The passport, then.
Yesterday, they confirmed that they'd just signed off my pictures anyway, because of the circumstances.
Today, I received a letter asking for confirmation of the addresses I've lived at in the past three years. From January. I've only worked at SJA since March three years ago. This means I'm going to have to go to my bank and ask them to write me a letter to say I've lived where I have for three years.
Fuck's sake, man.
I was born in this bloody country - what difference does it make where I live now?
And also: why can't they send it all out on the same day, or ask for it beforehand, so we can get it done quicker?!

on 2007-01-19 07:04 pm (UTC)My bank wouldn't give me a letter - just a print out showing that my address details were last altered in 2003, which she signed and stamped with their address.
I emailed our HR departmen to ask for a letter to see if they'd help (I figured with two documents, one only two months shy of the start date, they'd be okay) and they never got back to me.
