I have to say, seeing all this footage of London and the icons and things really does make me almost-nearly miss London.

And then I remember the air is like soup and I miss it less.

But still! So much history running down those streets.

This is how I feel about Boston--it's noisy and often dirty, but it's made of history and I adore it (and being able to get there in an hour by train is good for spontaneous visits).
