This Is Not A Democracy

Since distortedmya hasn't been around, I'm really struggling to write.

I feel like Fear of the Dark part three was dropped when I got it out of the sink and is now in a thousand pieces and I hace noe idea which part should go where.

I usually start my timelines after writing the story, to keep track of what happened, but Im having to write it in advance, this time, to fit it all together and work put what I need to do. Some of it will be repurposed from the eight thousand words or so that I already have, but I really think I need some new scenes which tie the Patroh thread with the magic thread. Something to prepare for part four, which is when the mystical shit hits the proverbial fan.

TWNW 21 is also proving tough to hit the right tone on. I know what essentially needs to happen, but getting it there is tricky, which is why I'm working on FOTD.

I guess it's a kind of writer's block and I just need some time away from it. Maybe this weekend I'll do some of my Bardic Grade coursework, instead.

Also, tomorrow is Bear's and my fourth anniversary. FOUR YEARS. He remains my adorable little bucket of dad jokes and cute aggression.

That awkward moment in fic when you know IRL the character you're writing would totally be knocking one off in the shower and you know it's an important development point for the central relationship but you do not want to write about it. Ever.

I still have not managed to write any of the Sherlock bigbang fic I'm working on, other than the 800 words I'm not even sure I'll keep.

Goddammit.

When did writing get so hard?

Also, I'm listening to Simply Red. But I didn't pay for it, so that's okay.

May be accidentally writing a fic centering on a retelling of some youthful drama in the life of Mr Holmes.

Damn you, fandom. Now you're going to eat all my free time, aren't you?




Edit: Also - New Order. Because it's at least partially set in the '90s and... well. New Order.

So, I'm supposed to be working on TWNW, but I can't get the Mpreg out of my head, because I want to get to a bit in which I can feature a Roy Orbison song. :|

It's going to be a tiny bit cheesy, very Patrick and totally adorable.

But I still have about ten months of fic-time before it can happen. Dammit.
